Freezer Van Rental in Abu Dhabi and UAE for Frozen Cargo — Rent Today
Chiller Logistics offers freezer van rental in Abu Dhabi and Dubai from 280 AED per day, with 60 vans holding −18°C to −22°C across 1 to 2 ton payloads. Standard and high roof builds cover ice cream and frozen dessert runs, seafood and frozen meat distribution, and multi-drop frozen restocking through the city and out to the industrial zones.
Holding sub-zero in this market is a harder problem than holding chilled. A freezer van works against a 72-degree gap between the box and the road outside, and it loses ground every time the rear door opens on a delivery round. Ours are built for that: deep-freeze units, heavier insulation, and a pre-freezing cycle at our Mussafah yard so the box is already at temperature before your first pallet goes in.
Take one on a daily, weekly or monthly plan, self-drive or with a driver for 100–150 AED per day.
Frozen Cargo Fails Quietly — Here's What We Move and What Goes Wrong
No warning light, no smell, no obvious damage. A frozen load that slipped two hours ago looks exactly like one that didn’t, until the customer opens it.

Ice Cream & Frozen Desserts · −22°C
The least forgiving cargo in the fleet. Once it softens the damage is done — refreezing rebuilds the ice crystals coarser, and the customer tastes the difference even though the tub reads frozen again. Distributor runs, retail restocking, event and mall activations.

Frozen Meat & Poultry · −18°C
Partial thaw and refreeze ruptures the cell structure, and it shows up as drip loss and weight shrinkage when the buyer defrosts it. Butchery deliveries, processor-to-retail routes, hotel and foodservice supply.

Seafood & Fish · −22°C
Fish loses texture and colour faster than almost anything once the surface warms, and Mussafah’s trade runs on cargo arriving in export condition. Port and cold store collections, processor runs, wholesale and restaurant delivery.

Frozen Ready Meals & Bakery · −18°C
Frozen dough and prepared portions rely on an unbroken chain for their proving and baking results — a soft-then-refrozen batch behaves differently in the oven. Central kitchen to outlet, dark kitchen stock runs, retail frozen ranges.

Frozen Distribution & Retail Restocking · −18°C
The multi-drop problem: ten door openings on one round, each one letting warm air into the box. Supermarket frozen aisle replenishment, grocery and convenience routes, scheduled distribution across the emirate.

Event & Catering Frozen Stock · −18°C to −22°C
Bulk frozen supply that often sits loaded for hours before a venue is ready to receive it. Weddings, exhibitions, corporate functions and hospitality stock held hard-frozen until service.
Inside the Box — Deep-Freeze Build, Insulation and Recovery Times
Sixty vans in two build specifications, both holding the same sub-zero window. These are the figures that decide whether your load arrives hard-frozen or soft at the edges.

Dimensions are the insulated internal cargo area — the space your pallets go into, not the raw shell.
Recovery is the number that matters. After a two-minute stop, our vans are back at −18°C in 3 to 5 minutes. On a ten-drop morning that’s the difference between ice cream that stays hard to the last stop and ice cream that softens at stop four.
Built for the gap. 100 mm of polyurethane — 20 mm thicker than our chilled vans — plus polar-grade strip curtains on every door aperture. Interiors are seamless food-grade GRP, rated for raw meat, poultry and seafood.
Cold before you load. Every van runs a 45-minute pre-freezing cycle at the yard and reaches you between −15°C and −18°C. Nothing waits for the unit to catch up.
Which Roof Suits the Way You Run Your Route
Both builds hold the same temperature. The trade is 2.58 m³ of extra space against how much cold escapes each time you open the door — and on frozen work, that trade goes the opposite way to what most people assume.
Take the standard roof if your day looks like this: ten drops before noon, doors opening every fifteen minutes, boxed stock loaded from the tail. The smaller air volume pulls back to set point fastest, stoop-in loading keeps door-open time short, and the lower profile clears basement bays, mall service ramps and low-clearance parking. On high-frequency work, recovery beats capacity. 28 vans available.
Take the high roof if your day looks like this: bulk frozen volume, palletised or stacked cases, fewer drops with real distance between them. Walk-in height makes loading heavy volume far easier, and the larger box has time to re-cool between openings when stops are spaced out. Needs open-yard or street-level loading. 32 vans available.
Tell us the route and the stop count and we’ll tell you which one your load wants.

Where Our Freezer Vans Run — and Why Distance Changes the Spec
Short routes forgive a lot. Long ones don’t — an hour on the highway in August is where an underspecced freezer van starts losing the load. Ours are built for the distance, which is why the same vehicles cover a twenty-minute Mussafah run and a full intercity leg.
Inside Abu Dhabi that means Mussafah and the ICAD zones, KIZAD and Khalifa Port, the city and Khalifa City, Yas and Saadiyat, and out to Al Ain and the Western Region — the longer runs where a load sits at temperature for two hours before it reaches the receiving bay.
Freezer vans for rent in Dubai work on the same terms. Take the van from Mussafah, or arrange deep freezer van hire in Dubai delivered into the emirate — Al Quoz, Ras Al Khor, Deira, Jebel Ali and Dubai Investment Park are all standard territory, and the Abu Dhabi–Dubai corridor is a route we’ve run for fourteen years. A return leg sits inside the daily mileage allowance.
Refrigerated van rental across the UAE extends to Sharjah, Ajman, Ras Al Khaimah, Fujairah and Umm Al Quwain on the same rates and terms.
Five Reasons Frozen Distributors Stay With Us
A frozen load fails quietly and you find out at the delivery point. Here’s what stands behind ours.
A van the day you ask for one — 60 freezer vans on the fleet means availability most days, and a replacement dispatched if a unit goes down with your cargo still on board
Rated for this market’s heat, not adapted from a cooler one — the units and build are specified to hold their set point through a full working day in peak summer, rather than drifting once the afternoon starts
Your load clears the receiving bay — HACCP-certified interiors, ADAFSA verification and ASATEEL registration for gate access into Mussafah, ICAD and KIZAD
Serviced before failure, not after — owned fleet, our own workshop, and deep-freeze units maintained on schedule instead of waiting for the call from a driver on a route
Fourteen years of sub-zero summers — operating since 2012, long enough to know what UAE heat does to a freezer unit that was never built for it

Before You Collect — Terms, Documents and Loading
Everything the rate carries, everything you bring, and one piece of advice that saves more loads than any spec on this page.
In the rate:
Pre-freezing before handover — collect at −15°C to −18°C, not ambient
Deep-freeze unit servicing and maintenance — our own workshop, on schedule
Sanitation — GRP interior washed down between rentals
Comprehensive insurance — 1,500–2,500 AED excess, nil on non-fault claims
Breakdown cover — repair on the spot or a replacement van same day
What you bring:
UAE licence, Emirates ID and trade licence copy for self-drive
1,500 AED deposit — returned in 14–21 business days, waived on monthly contracts
Fuel full-to-full, Salik and Darb at cost
300 km daily, 6,000 monthly — 0.75 AED per km beyond
Loading frozen cargo: the van holds temperature, it doesn’t create it. Load product already at target — a warm load pulls the whole box up and takes hours to claw back.
Booking runs like this: tell us the load and dates → we confirm rate and availability → documents and deposit → collect from Mussafah pre-frozen, or we deliver (free across Abu Dhabi on three days or more, 100 AED shorter, 150 AED to Dubai and the northern emirates, free monthly).
Questions Frozen Buyers Ask Before Booking
A freezer van runs sub-zero for frozen stock; a chiller van holds above freezing for fresh cargo. If your load sits between 0°C and +8°C, you want our chiller van rental instead.
Yes — the controllers set anywhere from −22°C up to +8°C, so a freezer van can cover a chilled week. It’s priced for sub-zero work though, so a straight chiller rental costs less if you don’t need the lower range.
Each stop lets warm air in, but the box returns to −18°C within three to five minutes of the door closing. On a ten-drop round that recovery window is what keeps the load hard rather than slowly climbing.
Usually yes. Pull-down runs 30 to 40 minutes, so a van called in the morning can be pre-frozen and out of the yard within the hour once documents and deposit are settled.
Yes. Collect from Mussafah, or we deliver into the emirate for 150 AED on daily and weekly rentals, free on monthly contracts.
Call us and we either fix it on the spot or send a replacement van the same day. Rental days lost to a unit failure aren’t charged.
No — a standard valid UAE licence covers a 1–2 ton van. Anything heavier needs a commercial licence, or take one of our drivers at 100–150 AED per day.
Wrong Size or Wrong Temperature?
A freezer van tops out at 1.5 tons of frozen cargo. If your load is warmer, heavier, or split between the two, one of these fits better.
