Chiller Truck for Rent in Dubai — 3 to 10 Ton Trucks For Chilled Distribution
Chiller Logistics offers chiller truck rental in Dubai from 400 AED per day, running 0°C to +8°C across four tonnages — 3, 5, 7 and 10 tons, holding 4 to 12 Euro pallets. Tail lift on the heavier classes, food-grade interiors throughout, and Carrier Transicold or Thermo King units on every vehicle.
We operate from Ras Al Khor Industrial Area 1, which puts the yard inside Dubai’s cold store and wholesale district rather than a shopfront across town. Collections run from there, and trucks reach Al Quoz, Deira, Jebel Ali and Business Bay without a positioning run first.
Daily, weekly and monthly plans — self-drive, or add a driver for 100–150 AED per day.
Four Tonnages for Dubai Routes — 3, 5, 7 and 10 Ton
Most Dubai operators run two truck sizes and ask you to fit your load around them. We run four, so the truck matches the pallets rather than the other way round.

3 Ton — 4 Euro Pallets, City and Single-Route Work
Takes 4 Euro or 3 standard pallets at 3,000 kg. The class for Deira wholesale runs, Business Bay and Downtown hospitality supply, and anywhere access decides the vehicle — it parks where a 7-ton cannot turn. Tail lift optional at 1,000 kg. Light vehicle licence.

5 Ton — 6 Euro Pallets, The Volume Most Distributors Need
Takes 6 Euro or 5 standard pallets at 5,000 kg — half again the capacity of the 3-ton without crossing into heavy licence territory. Covers hotel supply, wholesale catering and multi-outlet retail in one load rather than two runs. The most-booked class in the fleet. Tail lift optional at 1,000 kg.

7 Ton — 8 Euro Pallets, Warehouse and Industrial Work
Takes 8 Euro or 7 standard pallets at 7,000 kg, on a heavier 100 mm build with Carrier Supra or Thermo King T-Series cooling that holds set point better across long runs and repeated dock openings. Suits Jebel Ali and Dubai Investment Park warehouse distribution. Tail lift standard at 1,500 kg. Heavy licence required.

10 Ton — 12 Euro Pallets, Full-Load and Port Freight
Takes 12 Euro or 10 standard pallets at 10,000 kg, with heavy-duty tail lift as standard. Jebel Ali port collections, warehouse-to-warehouse transfers, and full-load intercity freight where one truck beats three partial runs. Heavy licence required.
Loading a truck to around 80% is where the economics work. Tell us your pallet count and product weight and we will confirm the class before you commit to a rate — including when the smaller one is the right answer.
Chiller Truck Rental Prices in Dubai — All Four Tonnages
Self-drive rates, published in full. Every figure below is before you call, not after.
Truck | Daily (AED) | Weekly (AED) | Monthly (AED) |
|---|---|---|---|
| 3 Ton | 400 – 450 | 2,400 | 6,500 – 7,500 |
| 5 Ton | 500 – 550 | 3,000 | 8,000 – 9,000 |
| 7 Ton | 600 – 650 | 3,600 | 9,500 – 10,500 |
| 10 Ton | 750 – 850 | 4,500 | 11,500 – 13,000 |
Run the cost per ton and the picture changes. A 3-ton at 400 AED works out near 133 AED per ton per day; a 10-ton at 800 sits at 80. When your volume genuinely fills the larger box, the bigger truck is the cheaper way to move cargo — which is why we would rather size you correctly than rent you two vehicles.
Rates are self-drive. A driver is optional at 100–150 AED per day depending on duty hours and whether the route crosses emirates, not a cost built into the headline figure. Monthly chiller truck rental in Dubai carries the sharpest per-day rate of the three plans and waives the deposit on approved corporate contracts.
Where Our Chiller Trucks Work in Dubai
Ras Al Khor sits in the middle of Dubai’s cold chain, which is why the yard is there. These are the districts our trucks run daily.
Ras Al Khor and Al Aweer — the wholesale and central market zone, including the fish and fruit and vegetable markets. Early collections, tight turnaround windows, and the shortest dispatch we run in the emirate because the yard is inside the district.
Al Quoz — cold stores, food production units and mid-size distribution. The 5-ton covers most of this work; access is manageable for the heavier classes where the site has a yard.
Deira — wholesale market runs and dense retail supply, usually early and usually against the clock. Street access and turning circles favour the 3 and 5-ton here regardless of what the pallet count says.
Jebel Ali and JAFZA — port-connected consolidation and warehouse distribution. This is 7 and 10-ton territory, with tail lift doing most of the loading work at sites without dock access.
Dubai Investment Park and Dubai South — warehouse-to-retail distribution and scheduled multi-drop routes across the southern corridor.
Business Bay, Downtown and the hotel network — daily hospitality and F&B supply, delivered into receiving bays with fixed windows where arriving outside your slot means waiting.
One Carrier Across Dubai and Abu Dhabi
Plenty of Dubai operators will take an Abu Dhabi job. Fewer can actually complete one without a delay at the gate.
Abu Dhabi’s industrial zones are gated, and the barriers check the vehicle as well as the cargo. ASATEEL registration — the Abu Dhabi ITC’s on-board tracking requirement — is what gets a commercial truck through ICAD, KIZAD and Mussafah without a clearance wait. Our full fleet carries it. ADAFSA verification covers the receiving bay at the far end, where hotels, hospitals and hypermarkets turn away unverified vehicles and the loss falls on the supplier.
On the Dubai side, every vehicle carries the food transport documentation Dubai Municipality requires, so a cross-emirate run does not stop at the border for a paperwork gap.
The practical effect is one carrier, one cold chain and one point of contact for work that spans both emirates — no handover, no second operator, no cargo sitting while two companies coordinate. We have run the Abu Dhabi–Dubai corridor for fourteen years, and a return leg sits comfortably inside the daily mileage allowance. If your work sits mainly in the capital, our chiller truck rental in Abu Dhabi covers it from the Mussafah side.

What You’re Actually Renting
Specifications are easy to find on our pages and difficult to find anywhere else in this market, which tells you something about who publishes them.
Internal cargo boxes measure 4.20 m × 2.00 m × 1.90 m on the 3-ton, rising to 7.50 m × 2.40 m × 2.30 m on the 10-ton — measured after panel installation, which is the space your pallets actually occupy rather than the external body length most quoted pallet counts are derived from.
The 3 and 5-ton run 80 mm polyurethane panels; the 7 and 10-ton step up to 100 mm high-density PU. Interiors are seamless food-grade GRP throughout — non-porous, washable end to end, and rated for the hygiene documentation a food safety audit asks for.
Refrigeration is Carrier Transicold or Thermo King on every vehicle, specified by box volume rather than fitted uniformly across the fleet. Pull-down runs 45 to 60 minutes to +2°C in peak summer ambient, and trucks leave the yard pre-cooled, so the box is at temperature before your first pallet goes on rather than starting the cycle when you load.
What Dubai Businesses Move in Them
Supermarket and hypermarket restocking — scheduled multi-outlet runs into fixed receiving windows, palletised and dropped in sequence, with tail lift covering the sites that have no dock.
Wholesale food distribution — Ras Al Khor and Deira market collections out to retail and foodservice, early starts and tight turnaround where the 5 and 7-ton carry a full morning’s distribution in one load.
Hotel and catering supply at scale — banquet and event volume into the Downtown and Business Bay hotel network, delivered on a setup schedule with mixed chilled produce, prepared stock and beverages on one manifest.
Dairy and beverage distribution — producer and cold store to retail in full pallets, on one of the narrowest temperature windows in food transport. Dairy that drifts shows the damage on shelf, days after the delivery signature.
Fresh produce and import consolidation — Jebel Ali port collections and central market runs, where the cargo is bulky rather than heavy and pallet footprint fills the box long before the payload ceiling.

Licence, Deposit and What the Rate Covers
Truck rental carries conditions a van does not, and licence class is the one that stops most self-drive bookings before they start.
Licence classes: 3 and 5-ton trucks need a UAE light vehicle licence — Category 3 or 5 depending on chassis gross weight. 7 and 10-ton require a Category 4 heavy vehicle licence, and self-drive on those two is only available where you supply a driver holding one. If nobody on your team does, take ours.
In the rate: unit servicing and scheduled maintenance at our own workshop, interior sanitation between rentals, comprehensive UAE insurance carrying a 1,500–2,500 AED excess per claim, and breakdown cover — repair on the spot, or a replacement truck where it cannot be fixed the same day.
What you bring: the correct licence class, Emirates ID and a trade licence copy. Deposit is 2,500 AED on the 3 and 5-ton and 3,500 AED on the 7 and 10-ton, returned 14–21 business days after handback and waived on approved corporate monthly contracts. Fuel is full-to-full; Salik and Darb pass through at cost.
Mileage: 300 km daily or 6,000 km monthly, then 1.00 AED per km on the 3 and 5-ton and 1.50 AED on the 7 and 10-ton. A Dubai–Abu Dhabi return leg sits inside the daily allowance.
Minimum hire: one day on the 3 and 5-ton. Three days on the 7 and 10-ton, or a single trip with one of our drivers if you need the capacity for one delivery.
Booking runs like this: tell us the load, pallet type and dates → we confirm the class, a firm rate and availability → licence, documents and deposit → collect from Ras Al Khor, or we deliver.
Why Dubai Businesses Rent Our Chiller Trucks
A chiller truck booking is a bet on availability and cold chain integrity. Here is what backs both.
Four tonnages, not two — most operators in this market run 3 and 5-ton and ask you to work around it. We run 3, 5, 7 and 10 across the chilled fleet, so the class matches your pallet count
Based in Ras Al Khor — the yard sits inside Dubai’s cold store and wholesale district, so collections start in the zone your cargo is already in
Published specifications and published rates — internal dimensions, pallet counts, insulation and unit brands are all on this page, which is more than you will find from most of this market
Certified on both sides of the border — HACCP for the box, Dubai Municipality for the Dubai leg, ADAFSA and ASATEEL for Abu Dhabi receiving bays and gated zones
Operating since 2012 — fourteen years of UAE summers, and units specified to hold 0°C to +8°C through them rather than drifting once the afternoon starts
Frequently Asked Questions
Usually same day. Pull-down runs 45 to 60 minutes, so a truck called in the morning can be pre-cooled and out of the Ras Al Khor yard once the licence check, documents and deposit are settled.
A Category 4 heavy vehicle licence. The 3 and 5-ton are covered by a standard light vehicle licence, and taking one of our drivers at 100–150 AED per day removes the requirement at any tonnage.
Yes, and a return leg fits inside the 300 km daily mileage allowance. Our fleet carries ASATEEL registration and ADAFSA verification, so Abu Dhabi industrial zones and receiving bays are open without a clearance wait.
Six Euro pallets or five standard, against a 5,000 kg payload. Those are measured internal figures rather than estimates from external body length, which is why they may read lower than counts quoted elsewhere.
Yes, on all four tonnages, subject to the licence class for the vehicle. Rates published above are self-drive; a driver is optional rather than built into the price.
One day on the 3 and 5-ton. Three days self-drive on the 7 and 10-ton, or a single dedicated trip with one of our drivers.

Different Temperature or Different Size?
Frozen instead of chilled, same tonnage — take a Freezer Truck, running −18°C to −25°C across 3 to 10 tons.
Chilled and frozen on the same run — take a Refrigerated Truck (dual-zone), two independently set compartments.
Under 1.5 tons and city routes — a chiller van costs less and parks where a truck cannot.
Comparing the three classes before you choose? Our temperature controlled truck rental page sets them side by side.
